Bollywood Walk

Project: Bollywood Walk, Entertainment City India
Location: Navi Mumbai, India
Client: Abu Dhabi Investment House

This Retail, Dining and Entertainment Street is conceived as an integral part of the masterplan for Entertainment City India. The design takes cues from the traditional streets of Mumbai, from the arcades, down to the scale of the individual establishments, but is staged in a relaxing, contemporary setting. An overhead canopy protects visitors from the intense monsoon in Mumbai, while serving up Bollywood-oriented multimedia presentations on the screens and roof surfaces.

High-density mixed-use buildings surround the Retail walk, so as to make the best out of this unique destination. A canal winds its way around the complex, as a transportation route and offering an atmosphere of tranquility and calm.
